TJ Attrill '16 Recruiting Profile

Lacrosse is my passion and has been since I started playing at 8 years old. The pure team aspect, competition and discipline of the sport is what drives me to play. I feel I have a strong lacrosse IQ to compliment my determination, drive and discipline. When all is said and done, one of the greatest rewards I have experienced is helping grow lacrosse through coaching kids coming up through the sport. I have helped coach my two younger brothers and have been a volunteer FCA lacrosse huddle leader at sports camps every summer throughout high school. One of the best feelings ever is teaching fundamentals of the game and watching kids or a teammate develop into a better player. I was a captain of the varsity team my Jr. year as a 1st year defender leading the defense in GBs, clears and assists. Starting defender on the 2015 Chick-fil-a Maryland Club team. While academics have not been a strong point for me in my high school career, my Sr. year is all about my classwork and applying myself to the fullest with a focus on AP Psychology. My goal is to complete my Sr. year with a 3.0 GPA. My aspirations in college are to pursue a degree in Criminal Justice or Business. On the weekends I volunteer as a student leader with a 4th & 5th grade boys youth group.
