Braden Olson '12 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Braden Olson. I will have 12 letters when I graduate High School.I'm a senior at Evergreen High School. As a senior I will be playing football, soccer and golf in the fall. For the fifth year in a row, my school has been recognized by Newsweek Magazine to be in the top 1% of public high schools in the nation. Evergreen High was named #2 in the country on a list of the best places to live and send your kid to school. The list was complied in conjunction with outdoor life magazine and Greatscool.org. I am 5'11 and weigh 150 pounds. I am one of the fastest on my team. My current GPA is a 3.8. I can show my leadership and passion for this game on the field and off the field. I think deeply about life and create quotes, my favorite is "only the best can suffer the most." I apply this to everything I do. I have always wanted to go to a college and play lacrosse. It is one of my biggest dreams. I would like to play for an east coast college like in Virginia or North Carolina. Another option would be to play in the west coast like California. I am a christian man that would like to play lacrosse at a big christian school, but all of my options are open and I will play lacrosse anywhere. My family is going through some rough times and we have financial need. I am on a program where the school provides a lunch for me once a day. I think of plans and then think of back up plans. If I don't play lacrosse in college I would attend medical school and excel in that. Another interest would be accounting because of my math skills. I believe that no matter what you need to work your hardest doing anything. Whether you like it or not work your hardest and that is what I am doing. I will do whatever it takes to play lacrosse and I will work my hardest to become the best I can be. With God by myside anything is possible.
