Hello, my name is Jakob Hunter and I live in a town in Southern California called Temecula. I currently play varsity lacrosse at Temecula Valley High School and have been on varsity since I was a sophomore. I would love to play college lacrosse because i have a strong passion for the game and I think that i have most of the necessary skills to compete at a collegiate level. I believe i would be a very valuable asset to any college lacrosse team because of my cooperation skills, my ability to be unselfish with the ball, and always having a positive attitude towards coaches, referees, opposing players, teammates, and most importantly, the game. I also am a very hard worker and can endure a lot of challenges that I am faced with. I am not the type of player to sit down and give up when my back is against the wall, but rather I am a player that is willing to fight against the odds to have the greatest outcome possible alongside my teammates. I also work very hard in my grades as well. I currently hold a 3.8 cumulative GPA and this last semester i received a 3.8 GPA while taking three AP classes and one honors class. If I were to go to college, I would work hard at not only lacrosse, but also my grades in hopes to graduate with a bachelors degree in Video Game Design and Programming and move on to hopefully get my masters in that in graduate school. This is why I believe I am a great person to have at any school that I am lucky enough to be accepted to and/or recruited to.
