Personal Statement

It has always been a dream of mine to play golf in college and help my school win a championship. Even though I have not had a whole lot of support at my school concerning golf (being a one man golf team) it has taught me to be self motivated and really fight to reach my goals. Two of these goals that I have set are: one, that I consistently break par (something that is still in the works, but is getting close to being achieved) and two: to be the class act on the golf course that is often hard to come by. The way I see it is if you get frustrated and sling your clubs out on the golf course, you really aren't enjoying the game you love. Though I have had to battle this mindset when i was younger, it has sharpened my mind and made my mental game one of my greatest strengths, and set me up for success in the future.
