Stefan Carlsson '13 Recruiting Profile

My name is Stefan Carlsson and I have a passion for golf. I am a junior living in Butler, PA and play as often as the weather permits me to do so. I currently have a 4.0 GPA with a steady rise occurring in my grades over the past two years of my high school attendance. My sports include Track and Field, Skiing, and first and foremost Golf. Not only do I have a passion for golf, I enjoy playing it at the highest level of competition possible, including summer tournaments. Since being a Freshman, I have made the Varsity golf team three times, both years being the number one player on the team. This past year being the MVP, I led my team to our first conference title in eighteen years. Universities I am interested in include both a great golf program and an excellent business school, seeing that business is going to be my major of choice. After my years in college, I would like to become a professional golfer. This means taking both academics and athletics seriously, as well as managing my time well and doing all I can to further my chances at becoming a successful professional golfer. I am fully committed to becoming the best golfer and student at whatever level my God given talents allow me to achieve.
