My goals for my collegiate experience is to get an excellent education Engineering while playing competitive college golf. I thrive in competition and in high level competition. I’ve learned different aspects of golf from players and coaches. My private swing coach (2 years), high school coach (3 years), club members (4 year caddy), teammates (high school and summer) and my grandfather. I play higher level tournaments to challenge myself, develop skills and continue growing in tournament golf through IJGA, MAJGT, FCWT and High School. My goal is to advance beyond my Junior year success of a 12th place state finish.
Academically I am focusing on a degree in Engineering. I was a three sport athlete through eighth grade. As a freshmen I had to make a choice between golf and soccer due to conflicting seasons. My winter sport has always been skiing and snowboarding. In 2013 (age 14) I became a snowboard/ski instructor. What I’ve learned on the golf course as a player and as a caddy has helped developed good communication and public speaking skills giving me confidence to stand in front of a group (kids and adults) and teach.
Playing golf in college has been a dream of mine for many years and I can't wait for the opportunity to attend a great school with an exceptional golf program!
