Hello coach my name is Robert Penalber. I have played golf for three years and my goal is to continue on to the collegiate level. I have played on my high school varsity team and junior tour events. The game has taught me many qualities that guide me and help me through everyday life.
I made my high school varsity golf team during my freshman and sophomore year. My freshman year I placed fourth in the Agape league with a nine hole average of 40. Improving my sophomore year to second in the Agape league with a nine hole average of 38. Golfing in high school is fun, but I wanted to take my game to the next level so I began participating in junior golf tours like SCJrPGA and the Johnson Junior Golf Tour.
The qualities that golf has given me have been more than beneficial to me. The qualities that help me become a better human being are dedication, commitment, and perseverance. These qualities apply to me everyday whether it is in school with my classwork and homework or being on the golf course.
I try hardest everyday during school and then on the course and I think that is what has help mold me into the person that I am today. My main goal is to be given an opportunity to golf at the collegiate level. I have dedicated many long hours towards this wonderful game, and I would like to continue to grow in it. I honor the game and want to be a part of the game in the highest level that I can go. It is in my hopes that a college will see my determination and dedication that I put towards the game. I feel I can be an asset to a team, because I have key leadership qualities and I will set the example for other to follow.
