I started playing competitive golf at the age of 8. Last year was the first year to be on a golf team and I enjoyed all aspects of being on a team. Playing golf has afforded me many opportunities and quality friendships. I have the utmost respect for the game of golf and enjoy mentoring younger players.
My dad has been a great influence on my golf game and I have been working with him for the past three years as a lead assistant for US Kids Golf tournaments in Little Rock. Even though I play in every tournament, I get to the course at least two hours before my tee time to set up the course and the tournament. My favorite activity was participating in a short game clinic for younger golfers. It was exciting to see their improvement and I believe my high golf IQ and coaching helped them. I am excited this spring to assist my school’s middle school golf team.
My academic goals for high school are to maintain a 4.0 GPA and graduate valedictorian. Playing golf on the collegiate level is a high priority for me but attending a college of high academic caliber is my goal.
I love competing at a high level no matter the circumstances. I believe my short game is the best aspect of my game and would love the opportunity to make a difference for your program!
