Tyler Wilson '15 Recruiting Profile

My name is Tyler Wilson and I am a 6’5” 190 pound left-handed guard/forward for WT Woodson High School.  To get straight to the point, I believe I have great speed and court vision, I am very long with a quick first step that allows me to get to the rim, while still being a threat from the perimeter. 

I am a three-year varsity player and starter for Woodson teams that have gone 46-14 over last two seasons winning back-to-back Virginia 6A Northern Regional titles and reaching Virginia State Semi-Finals.  In 2013 Woodson finished 2nd in VA AAA final rankings and 15th in Washington Post final rankings.  In 2014 Woodson finished 5th in VA 6A final rankings and 18th in Washington Post final rankings. 

In 2015 I am Woodson's leading rebounder, second in assists and a top-three scorer at about 11 points a game.  I also consistently guard our opponents' top player.

I carry a 3.7 GPA and will take 7 AP courses at Woodson which is a US News and World Report top-125 U.S. high school.
