I grew up in a military family where I learn that you should always have a standard, punctuality is crucial, always keep your head on a swivel and take responsibility for your actions. I am on track to reach my academic goal of graduating high school in the top 10% of my class and very excited to start my next goal of achieving a Master's degree.

My first exposure to basketball was at the age of four, and I've had a basketball in my hands ever since. I started playing AAU basketball at the age of eight and from that experience I took away the value of commitment; the meaning of brotherhood; and exposed to different coaching styles. I have a floor general's mentality who can control the game in a variety of ways and lead a team not only vocally but, lead by example.

My first two years in High School showed me what it takes to play at a higher level. Those two years, Samuel Clemens went to back to back State Tournaments and won District both years. I experienced what a winning environment felt like and it brought out the best in me. My hard work and patience paid off, and once I got my opportunity as the starting Point Guard with a significant role on the team, we were crowned District Champs for the third consecutive year in one of the toughest districts in the state. My persistence and willingness to improve my game in different aspects helped build my confidence that I can play basketball at the collegiate level. I'm extremely coachable and can be relied upon to carry my coach's vision on the court and make the right decisions in the flow of the game. My dedication to the game is second to none, and I know I would be a great fit and addition to your program.
