Personal Statement

Becoming a student-athlete at the next level is my primary objective. My goal is to earn a scholarship and I'd like to play ball at a good academic Div. III school. I love basketball and I'm also focused on getting a good education which prepares me for life beyond basketball. I'm a lockdown defender, making a difference in both rebounds, blocks and steals. My offensive game is progressing well -- I'm a solid post player and my perimeter play is well on its way. I play the four or five position for my high school and the three or four for AAU. I am a great team contributor and growing into a leadership role as I head into senior year. I study the game and believe I have a pretty high basketball I.Q. My coaches tell me I'm coachable and take instruction well. I'm confident I will be a solid addition and contributor to any team that selects me to come to their program.

I have a lot of support from my parents. Both are professionals and have stressed the importance of hard work and focus in both me and my sister. They will both be out to games a lot cheering me and the rest of the team on. I'm looking forward to speaking with coaches interested in what I can bring to their programs.

He is a capable shooter that is able to space the floor and knock it down to 15ft. Coaches in attendance would like to see him continue to develop a post game. He plays the game with a high motor and crashes the boards on both ends of the floor creating extra possessions for his team. NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
