2014 HighlightsPersonal Statement
I'm Jared and I want to attend a college where I will enjoy pursuing my degree. I also want to play basketball at the collegiate level. When I graduate, I plan to be affiliated with sports in some way - sports commentator, television or radio, or affiliated with sports broadcasting in some capacity. My major will be communications, mass media, sports management.
I have had two shoulder surgeries since I began high school, on the same shoulder, but that did not stop me. I worked hard to recover from each injury and improved my game. I am persistent, dedicated, and one of the hardest workers you will find. You will see from my videos that I am a very diverse and well-rounded basketball player. To go with athletic ability comes my leadership. As point guard I run the offense and help my teammates get open looks as well.
