Personal Statement

All the coaches I've played for say I'm the hardest worker and most determined player they have ever coached.
I'm generally the first one at a practice, work out, etc. and the last one to leave.
I believe you should use the talents to the best of your ability and not waste them, thats why you have them.

Suffered ACL injury 8/30/11. Had reconstruction surgery 9/27/11. Missed junior high school season. As of3/21/12 I'm on schedule for full recovery and anticipate doctors release by end of April 2012. My goal with regard to this injury is to be back 100% by July 2012.

Released by my doctor on 4/25/12 to resume full activity. Began my return participating with the St Louis Gymrats (17U) at the Battle for the Arch tournament. Feeling good and looking forward to building my stamina back to playing condition. Will be playing in 3 more tournaments this spring, high school program in June and scheduled for 3 tournaments in July.

UPDATE (6/29/12): Had a couple good months working back into playing shape...... then during camp drill it came to a crashing end. Tore my reconstructed ACL thereby ending my high school career. It is what it is and life goes on........ will have surgery on July 12. What a way to end my high school career, but I thank the coaching staff for giving me the opportunity to play varsity ball my freshman and sophomore years.

  • *The St. Louis Raptors 16U Guard Dylan Gish (Jefferson City Helias) is a tough kid who drives to the basket with reckless abandon. Very effective. The Raptors took tournament finalist Team Nebraska into overtime in pool play, losing on a last-second shot. http://earlaustinjr.com/prep-basketball/3919.html

  • 5’10 Dylan Gish Jefferson City Helias Catholic Gish is a lead guard that plays with a strong basketball IQ. Although not super quick and athletic Gish gets to spots with smarts and shoots the ball very well. Gish also was comfortable at playing off the ball and is a lights out shooter from deep. We also would of liked to see Gish be a little bit more aggressive and selfish at times.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
