Cameron Frank '13 Recruiting Profile

My coaches will tell you that I am a relentless defender. My specialty is shutting down the opposing team's lead scorer.  I started on the best AAU team in the state, Iowa Pump and Run.   My High School team was 3A State Champions my junior year.   I was starting small forward and led the conference in assists and steals.  This year I am team captain and starting point guard. I broke the school record in assists and made 1st team all conference.  I also made sub state 1st team.  My team lost our title in overtime to the new state champ. 

My work ethic in practice and in the weight room far exceeds the normal "gym rat" label.  Years ago I heard Harrison Barnes would go to the gym every morning at 5 am, so I began going at 4:30 am.  My coaches would tell you that I am the most dedicated player they have ever coached, but honestly - I just love the game, where ever they place me. When I am asked to score, I go to the basket. I love being creative in the lane. I am working on improving my 3 point shot in order to be a threat at any range. My dream is to play basketball at the highest level I am able to reach in my life. Thanks for considering me.
