Tobi Obasanya '17 Recruiting Profile

    I am a Senior at Buford High School with a 3.25 GPA. I am interested in a college where I can pursue a business and/or optometry degree.  I would feel truly blessed to be able to attend a college that offers these programs while playing basketball to help further my education. I love the game of basketball and have been playing since I was 5 years old. This year I was able to lead my high school team to a STATE CHAMPIONSHIP and make HISTORY by being a part of the first mens team to win a state championship at Buford High School. When I'm not playing basketball, I can be found hanging out with friends and family. I have strong relationships with my family members, especially my granny and brother.  I also enjoy drawing as a way of relaxation. I even took AP Studio Art last year as a class where I created pieces of artwork mostly inspired by my favorite types of music.  I've always been challenged to be a leader and selected to attend several leadership conferences and events to better me as a person. I want to continue to grow as a leader and I believe basketball can help me to do that.  Ultimately, I would like to play college basketball while enhancing myself as a person and make the people around me better people as well.
