Brent Cahill '15 Recruiting Profile

Basketball has been my passion ever since I began playing in kindergarten. I hope that my continued passion will lead me to play at the collegiate level, where I may pursue a demanding course load as well as maintaining excellence on the basketball court. In high school, I have dedicated myself to becoming the best I can be both on and off the court by working out daily on the court and in the gym with my school and club teams. It is this effort that I put into my workouts that has helped me score more than 1,657 varsity points, become MVP of my league the last two years, an Orange County all star, as well as a member of the All Southern California-CIF first team. In addition, it has helped me to attain my 38 inch vertical, which I take pride in. I also do my best to balance this schedule with my other varsity sport, my difficult AP classes and my commitments to musical theatre. I put in effort not only to work on areas of my game that I think need improvement, but also to managing basketball, school, and theatre. It is this motivation to reach my full potential, as well as my rigorous academics and my high GPA that I believe will set me apart from my peers.
