~~My name is Richard Reveles, I am an 19 year old graduated high school student now attending Chaffey Junior College in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. I just finished grey shirting the 2013-2014 season and was taking a few classes at Chaffey to get a head start on my academics. I have been playing organized basketball for 11 years and enjoy the competitiveness of the game. I am preparing myself to be on the roster and compete for a starting position for the 2014-15 basketball season. Chaffey has been and currently being ranked in the top 4 junior college programs in the state of California. I am planning to play and compete for the next 2 years and become a better overall player for the next level of collegiate basketball. My goal is to transfer to a Division II or Division III basketball program after competing and improving my skills to compete at this higher level. Currently, I am eating a 5000 calorie per day diet in order to gain weight to reach my goal of 190 lbs. Along with a solid nutrition plan, I am weight training 3-4 times per week to add muscle and strength. All my past coaches throughout my 11 years of playing have labeled me as a player who plays with a lot of heart and hustles 100% of the time. I have very solid basketball skills and extremely coachable. My defensive tenaciousness along with my excellent court vision would be an asset to your basketball program. My goal is to become part of a great program and academic environment where I can expand my skills and help my team grow. I realize I have still have so much more to learn. I am dedicated to reaching my potential as a student-athlete at the next collegiate level. Please contact me at any time as I look forward to hearing from you.
