My name is Calle Erich. I am currently a senior at Plano West High School in Texas (Class of 2016). We compete at the 6A level which is the highest level in Texas. My junior season I started on an offensive line with 4 seniors. I played every position on the offensive line except right tackle. I was the starting center this season and believe my versatility to play any O line position is an asset to my team. I played every offensive down this season at center.
I have worked very hard the past year to become leaner and faster and will play any position in college that is asked of me; O line, D line, linebacker, fullback or special teams. Heading in to this season, I was given the sledgehammer award as the player picked to be the offensive leader of this season's squad.
I currently have a 3.65 GPA with test scores of a 31 on the ACT and 1290 on the SAT (math & reading). I am challenging myself with a rigorous class schedule; taking 3 AP courses and one honors course. I started wrestling last season and became the varsity heavy weight wrestler and would love to be a two sport athlete in college if possible.
While I have spent most of my life in Texas, I have relatives in the Northeast, Midwest and California and am open to attending college wherever the best fit for me is academically and athletically.
I was invited to the VTO Elite 100 combine in Dallas (April 2015) where I was voted the Offensive Line MVP after competing against defensive linemen aspiring to play D1.
