Since I started playing football at age 7 my goal has been to play in college or longer if possible. Genetics didn't make me 6'5" so instead, I have to work twice as hard and become twice as good as the other taller linemen. I have attended 7-8 camps per year to learn more about what is expected from a college player, I have worked with a personal trainer, Jamie Thomas, to home my skills and I wrestle in the off season. I believe if your technique is clean and sharp and you are quick off the ball you will be able to beat your opponent even if he is bigger than you. In the off, season I am in the weight room three days a week at 6 am before school.
I was honored this year to be named by the coaches of the Lancaster-Lebanon league (District 3 of PA) to 1st team Offensive Guard, Offensive Lineman of the Year and the most prestigious, Co-Lineman of the Year. I was also named to the Top 21 Offensive All Stars for the Mid State by PennLive.com.
I plan to study mechanical engineering so I am looking for a college that offers a great engineering program with a great football team.
