Personal Statement

I am a 6'2" 285# Offensive Guard / Defensive Lineman that is currently a junior at Union High School and will graduate in 2017.  I am one of only three players to ever start varsity for Coach Joe Hadacek as a Freshman.  I am a three year starter on Defense and also a two year starter on Offense. As a freshman I was voted as newcomer of the year for Union Football.  As a sophomore I was voted 1st Team all District Defensive Lineman.  As a Junior I was voted 1st Team All District Defensive Lineman and also voted Team MVP Player of the Year by my peers.  In addition I was voted as a Captain my Junior season and have been on the Union Unity Council two years.

In addition to Football, I also participate in wrestling where I have been a Class 2A District and Sectional Champion my Junior season along with being a State wrestling qualifier my Sophomore and Junior Years.  I was also a member of the Class 2A State Duals Champion Team in 2015.  I have also been a two year wrestling letter winner.  In addition to Football and Wrestling I am participating in Track and Field my Junior year throwing the shotput and running on a 4 X 100 Relay Team.

I am looking for an opportunity To attend a college where I can continue to develop as a student and as an athlete.  I am also looking for a school where I feel at home and develop relationships that will last a lifetime no matter where it is at.  I am also looking for a school that can prepare me to excel personally and professionally after I graduate with a degree.  I hope to make a positive impact on the team that I play for along with the people I am surrounded by.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
