My name is Carey Wilson-Richmond, I went to Mount Carmel High School in Chicago for my freshman and sophomore year where I played at and we won Conference for both years. I then transferred to Lincoln-Way North my Junior year where we won conference and went undefeated in the regular season. Lincoln-Way North had closed down so I finished up the rest of my high school years at Lincoln-Way East High school. I was then recruited by Quincy University, I currently go here now and I am currently a redshirt freshman. I still have four more years to play football and four more years of academic schooling. I will try to get my masters in Criminal Justice by the time my fifth year of college comes around. I want to be in the federal government such as the Secret Service, FBI, or ICE. My dad is currently a Captain of the Investigation Department for his police department. I have always loved to play football all my life. I have been playing since 2006. I played for the Matteson Bears football team for seven years. I started at center for my Mount Carmel football team my freshman year and I was a starter at defensive tackle at my school my sophomore year. My freshman year at Mount Carmel, my football team came in first place in the Catholic Football Catholic League Blue conference, and in my sophomore year, my football team came in second place for the Chicago Catholic League Blue conference. I am a versatile athlete; I can play almost any position because I was taught throughout my life how to play every position besides quarterback and cornerback. I am a hard worker in the classroom and I show leadership and determination on the football field. I like the challenges my football coaches gives to me and my teammates on the field because we show teamwork and no matter what the obstacles may be, we will always find a way to get the job done. Playing college football has been a dream for me ever since I was a little kid. Making my parents proud is my motivation and it drives me to do the best that I can both, in the classroom and off the football field.
