This past season I played outside linebacker, I recorded 70 tackles, 11 tackles for a loss, 4 sacks, 3 fumble recoveries, and 1 interception returned for a touchdown in helping our team to place second in the Illinois state playoffs for 4A schools.
I have played football since a young age and I take the game very seriously. I consider myself a student of the game, and I'm always looking for ways to improve my skills. As a freshman and sophomore I started every game at quarterback, and as a junior I started varsity at linebacker and was the back-up quarterback. I was selected 2nd Team All-Conference my first year playing linebacker, and our team reached the finals of the Illinois state playoffs this past fall. This upcoming fall as a senior, I will take over as the starting quarterback and will see time at linebacker.
As you can see from my grades, I'm very focused on my academics. While I have not locked in on a college major as of yet I seem to be leaning towards a degree in Physician Assistant with emphasis on Sports Medicine or a Dentist. I am involved in many clubs at school as well as outside of school. I consider myself a great role model and leader for my little brother as well as my peers.
