My freshman season was nothing to boast about, as my team went 4-7. It was a struggle to play for an unmotivated team with a big lack of senior leadership, but I persevered. I worked hard every day to get better at my job as a kicker not worrying about everyone else's job.
As a freshman, I don't have a lot of experience yet. I have 2 years of kicking under my belt as I was the starting kicker for my middle school football team in 8th grade and I was the starting kicker last year, my freshman year, for my varsity football team.
I'm young but I'm working harder every day to reach my goals as a kicker. During the offseason, I kick 3 times a week minimum and stretch every night to improve flexibility. On the field, I am locked in. Off the field, I display good character and work ethic. I believe that with enough work, I have what it takes to be a competing college athlete both academically, mentally and physically.
