As a rising eleventh grader and I am very excited to continue playing varsity football. I look forward to the day that I can play college football while continuing my education goals. I understand that, without a college degree, it is hard to excel in life from a career perspective.
I love the game of football and I would, as a lot of the players here, like to play at the highest level one day. I understand that the likely hood of that happening is very small, but it is better to dream big, work hard, and fall a little short than to settle for the easy path. I am a competitive person that is not afraid to work for what I want. This helps not only me but those around me on my team and my classmates.
I have yet to decide what I want to do as a profession after college and football (whatever level that is at) are over, but I do know that I love math, science, and computers. So ultimately something that combines those elements would be ideal. I also enjoy learning new facts about almost any subject and have been referred to by some as a walking encyclopedia, but I am sure they mean that in the nicest way.
I am very close with my family, and I love to help people. I like to think of myself as someone that is always available to lend a hand when needed whether it is on the football field, the classroom or some other way.
I believe that anything is possible with the right attitude, hard work, and the right people around you to help you accomplish your goals. This is why I know I will make my dream of playing football in college a reality. I am willing to work hard and I have my family and friends to help me reach that goal.
