My goal has always been to play football at a high level while getting a great education. I began my football career when I was six years old and I have played every year since. My love for the game started when I was very young playing with my father who taught me many of my football skills. From my multiple years of football experience I have learned persistence, commitment, and leadership qualities. My high school football career did not begin as planned. I partially tore my ACL during the second week of freshman practice. I worked extremely hard during rehab to recover, and I was able to return for the last four weeks of the season, but I got most of my playing time at corner. My sophomore season I was able to win the starting quarterback position, and I had a successful season. I am currently doing much better academically than my freshman year, and I am looking forward to being an honors student this year.
