My dream is to get a scholarship to college and go on to play for the Olympic team. In college I would major in German. After earning my B.A., I would go onto law school. In law school I would study to get my J.D. and become a Corporate and International lawyer in a law firm where I would work my way up to partner. I have been playing field hockey since 3rd grade and it has been an important part of my life since. I am a good candidate for any team because I have good leadership skills, can multi-task handling school, field hockey, work and other extra-curriculars and put forth all my effort into everything I do. I have good leadership skills and am able to be welcoming to new people, helpful to those who need it and kind to everyone but, I can also be firm and focused to get the job done. I can multi-task and handle school, field hockey and a personal life. At field hockey, I attend every practice I can, try my hardest to improve, and don’t let little things distract me from my goals. In the off season, I spend a lot of time in the gym working out and preparing for the next season. I also attend camps and clinics and plan on joining a club team. In school I take advantage of all possible opportunities. I have taken at least 1 advanced or honors class every year, Honors Biology in freshman year, AP World History, Honors Algebra 2 and Advanced English in sophomore year, AP US History and AP Language and Composition in junior year and will take AP Government, AP English Literature, AP Chemistry and College in High School German 4/5. In the summer between my freshman and sophomore years I attended the National Youth and Leadership Forum on Law and CSI in Washington D.C. then between sophomore and junior year I traveled with People to People Student Ambassador Program to Australia for 20 days. I also maintain a part time job alongside school and field hockey. I have participated in Family, Career and Community Leaders of America, National Honors Society, German Club, dance and theater club. I also work and volunteer as much as I can. Though it sometimes is hard to do all of these things, I enjoy all of them and don’t let stress or work keep me from doing everything I can because I don’t let anything keep me from the things I enjoy.
