Emily DiGaetano '16 Recruiting Profile

I have played field hockey since elementary school, but became most serious about it in the middle school.  I volunteered to be goalie in seventh grade because the team needed a goalie.  I fell in love with the position from the start and I strive to do my best and improve with each game I play.    I enjoy working hard not only in the classroom, but on the field.  It has always been my desire to take what I have learned to the next level.  Playing a collegiate sport can only provide great opportunities for the future.  I like to consider myself a positive and encouraging individual with a great attitude.  I have a solid work ethic, and strive to always better my skills. I would like to be a member of a team, just like I am a member of my family.  Positive team bonding, a family atmosphere with no room for any discouraging remarks or attitudes. My desire is to match the ability to play at a level that I am suited for with the academics that meet my needs for the career path that I have chosen.
