Kayla Paulson '17 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goals are to achieve high academic excellence and be a Student-Athlete. I recognize that my goal to become a successful Pediatric Dentist will require a significant academic commitment. I am a hard worker and will exhaust efforts in order to complete my tasks. I am very conscious of my grades and always strive to do my best, both academically and athletically.

I believe in leadership through example. I am a team captain, and although I am not the most outspoken on the team, I accept the responsibility to ensure all the girls understand what is being asked of them. I simply love playing the sport and I hope to continue my career in college. Whatever you tell me to do, I will make sure it will get done to the best of my ability.

My goals are to play collegiate hockey at a college/university that offers me a personal challenge to become a contributing field player beginning my freshman year. As previously stated, I am a hard worker who is willing to stay after practices to work on my skills. I want to push myself to my limits and I want to have a successful season with whatever team I am on.
