Jessica Osterhoudt '15 Recruiting Profile

I grew up in an athletic family, at first I was unsure if field hockey was for me but I quickly realized that field hockey was the best thing that could've happen to me. I've learned so many life skills from it; perseverance, commitment, teamwork, trust, the strength of a family. I love field hockey. Yes, I like the other sports I play (softball & basketball) but I've never questioned if I should continue with playing field hockey or not. I hope I can play in college, but what I also want to do in college is get a great education to help me get a good job. I've known this is what I've wanted to do since seventh grade. I want to study Secondary Education and minor in History and then hopefully become a coach for one of my schools sports team. And with perseverance someday I will achieve that goal.
