Megan McGuinness '18 Recruiting Profile

I am a leader on an off the field. I showed my leadership qualities for three years on my JV field hockey team from 7th to 9th grade. Along with field hockey I was the captain of my JV lacrosse team in 9th grade. From 7th to 9th grade I was pulled up for field hockey play offs and in 9th grade I was pulled up for lacrosse play offs. From between lacrosse and field hockey Ive always showed up to practices early to set the fields up. In a classroom Ive always participated in class discussions and helped others with any questions they had on a topic. Ive volunteered to help out with my grades fundraising in multiple ways like at bake sale or at car washes. From 2013 to 2015 I have attended to the Futures Nationals Tournament and within three years of going to nationals I have won a gold medal and silver medal. It is my dream to be able to play field hockey in college. Im open to any colleges but my goal is to play at a Division 1 school. Im very interested in criminal justice. My athletic goals is to make an impact on my varsity field hockey team because I am going to be an upcoming sophomore and starting goalie for the next three years.
