My name is Ashley Kerekgyarto. I am a junior at Voorhees High School in Glen Gardner, New Jersey. I was a varsity starter on my high school field hockey team since my freshman year. I have played forward and mid-field. As a junior on the varsity team, I worked on being a leader both on the field and off the field. I hope to become a captain during my senior year. I also play for the club team, X-Calibur in Pottstown, Pennsylvania. There, I play outdoor and indoor. It has been my dream to play field hockey in college since I started playing in 2nd grade. Outside of my hockey life, I play the french horn for my school's concert band and wind ensemble. I am taking AP Biology, Honors English III and Latin III, and College Prep Pre-Calc and American History II. As far as the size of the college, I'm currently looking for schools that are medium to small in size, with an enrollemnet of 15,000 or less. I'm looking to major in Environmental Science or Biology and possibly minor in Music.
