Throughout college, I plan to continue pushing past my limits and get the most out of my experience in academics and athletics. In high school, I have learned that I appreciate challenges and am fulfilled by setting and reaching goals. In general, the harder I have to work, the more I get out of an experience, and am very proud of my work ethic and perseverance. Much of what I have accomplished in sports and school have been the results of sheer determination. In regards to Field Hockey, I started playing later than most in my town and, to make Junior Varsity as a Freshman, required focus and preparation throughout the preceding summer. I continued this level of effort to get to the level of play I'm at now and would love to be part of a program that will challenge me to exponential growth. The same holds true academically, where I did have some subjects that were not intuitive to me, such as math, that through hard work I have been able to turn it from a weakness into a strength, now consistently receiving A's.
Field Hockey is a priority for me. I'd love to play for a coach that is knowledgable and can, in addition to challenging me, help me improve.
