I started playing field hockey in fourth grade at Dedham Country Day School. Since I played my first game, I knew that this was my sport. I've played many other sports in the past, but none of them compared to field hockey. In middle school, my coach brought my team and I to a few college games. Every game I went to, I imagined myself playing at the collegiate level. As years went by, I became more and more serious about the sport. Playing in college is a once in a lifetime opportunity that could change my whole life.
I have strong stick skills and off ball movement. I am a leader on and off of the field. I give my teammates constructive criticism and endless encouragement. I am very coachable and always try my best. I strive to be one of the hardest working players and one of the hardest working recruits you’ll find.
In the classroom, I study hard and have made honor roll every year. I sing in a jazz combo and take pottery. I am also a part of many clubs at Thayer and I have been a Class Officer since freshaman year. Being involved in Student Government is very important to me and it has helped me become a leader in everything I participate in.
I would love to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the field. I am open to all options and want to find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible. I hope to become a great role model on and off the field and make my parents proud.
