Personal Statement

My name is Ryan Morrison. I am 20 years old. I am  5' 11" 185.

Baseball update,

I just finished my Sophomore year at Milwaukee area tech (JC) My freshman year  I was team captain and I was named team MVP, 2nd team all conference and first team all region. We are part of the NCJAA region 4 and the N4C Conference. My Sophomore year I was team captain. I was selected the N4C conference 1st team.

My stats and awards are available at, MATC.edu/athletics and Region4sports.com

This summer I am playing for the West Bend Braves in the Land O Lakes league and tri county night league in Wisconsin. Land O Lakes is one of the top amateur leagues in the state. I am a team captain and I was selected by my peers as an all-star. I was awarded team MVP.

I was honored to be selected as player of the year and a unanimous first team selection.

About me.

My goals in college first and foremost are to study and major in Earth sciences and minor in sports and business management and play competitive baseball. My act score is 21 and my current G.P.A. is 2.85

I love baseball and have played it since I was 4 years old. Baseball is my passion and I love the game and I am a avid student of the game.

I have been fortunate to have great coaches, some that have played in the majors that have taught me to respect and play the game the right way.

Baseball has taught me to work hard and push myself. It has also taught me to be a team player and how to handle adversity.

I want to further my baseball career in college and challenge myself to be the best I can be in the classroom and on the field.

I am the first one at the field and the last to leave. I am a hard worker and very coachable. I am a team player and work to make my self and my teammates better.

Thank You for your consideration.

Ryan J Morrison
