Dallas Roman Skil...Personal Statement
I am a 6'2" catcher, outfielder (utility) player from El Paso, Texas that graduated in the top 10% of a class size over 600. My official GPA was an impressive 3.6, and I was successful in multiple Dual-credit courses.
I competed on the varsity team for 2 years and finished the 2014 Spring season with a .398 BA and a .500 OBP. I also earned an All-Distirict team award as well as an All-Academic District award this year.
I look forward to continue playing the game I have passionately competed in since the age of three and continue my education. I plan to pursue a career in the field of Pharmacy or Microbiology in a reputable college or university that will offer opportunities both on the baseball diamond and in the classroom. I strongly feel my athletic work ethic and ambition would allow me to make an immediate impact on a team with hopes to be seen by several potential college baseball programs.
