In life, every person progresses toward an objective, be it on a work force, a project, or a sports victory.  All must operate as one to achieve a positive outcome.  I am fully aware that there is no “I in team” and the value of being part of a goal-oriented group. I know that the sport of baseball is a game made up of individual performances united to insure victory and I am a “Team Player.” I'm not one to separate myself from my team, and I look forward to contributing in every game.  

Humble and determined would be the words that best describe me both on and off the field. I am driven to succeed and have the desire to grow both athletically and academically. My stats and grades are a great indication of what I am capable of achieving. I have learned the value of teamwork, commitment, sacrifice and leadership though playing multiple team sports, my hours of community service, and my membership in a variety of school extracurricular activities.

I am seeking a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. I aspire to compete at the highest of levels at an exceptional academic institution. I value the aspects of the student-athlete experience, of which I hope to be a part of. I believe I not only have the talent to compete for a place on a team in a major college conference, but the character, work-ethic and leadership skills to make an immediate impact on your program.
