Yes, my name is Easton and I was named after the Easton baseball bat. The two most important people, my parents, influenced me early in life by giving me a name I am proud to have. They gave me the name, but I am making my name known. I have been involved with baseball since I was in T-ball at the early age of four. My father, who was a 13th round draft pick for the Baltimore Orioles in their 1983 winter draft, sparked my interest in the game, and that interest has developed into a passion. I have grown and learned a lot over the years. Baseball has given me the chance to make new friends, learn how to work/communicate with others, and be a leader.
I consider myself a well rounded athlete. I have been a three sport athlete during high school playing soccer, basketball and baseball. I am dedicated to my overall health and wake up every morning before school to go to the weight room or get some extra stretching or conditioning in before my school day begins. Knowing how important athletics are to me, I know my education is even more important. I understand that athletics stop or slow down for people, but education is the foundation that keeps a person functioning in life. I am determined to find a college that is a perfect fit for me. I am looking for a college that will give me the opportunity to develop as an individual on the baseball field and in the classroom. With my strong work ethic, dedication, leadership abilities and positive character, I feel I have a lot to offer a college community.
