Troy Smigielski '17 Recruiting Profile

My name is Troy Smigielski.  I'm a very coachable player.  I am willing to do anything it takes to help my team win.  I love baseball because it's a team sport and everyone has to contribute in order for the team to succeed.  I have loved baseball since I first starting playing tee-ball when I was 4.  Baseball has taught me a lot about failure and how you react to failure.  In baseball, like life, you get a lot of different chances but you must work extra hard to be successful.  As a student-athlete, I have been willing to put the extra work in, on and off the field.  My education is very important to me and I work very hard in the classroom to get good grades.  During practice, I work hard and stay focused in order to be more successful on the field.  I am willing to do what it takes to become a student-athlete at the college level.
