Personal Statement

In college I plan to major in science such as a prephysical therapy program, exercise science, biology or similar degree. My dream after I graduate would be to apply to a physical therapy school and become a physical therapist and work with athletes. I realize there are many schools that could offer the courses I need whether it is a 4 year university or a junior college to complete general education requirements.

I also have a strong desire to continue playing baseball in college. I have been playing baseball since I was 5 years old and can not see myself not playing the sport I love. I have a passion for the game and want to be able to continue to use my God given talents while pursuing my degree. I am primarily a left handed pitcher but enjoy playing the field and batting. Currently, my fastball is in the low to mid 80's. I am told by coaches that I have more in the tank. I am also known for my curveball/slider. I consider myself a strong competitor but level headed enough not to let my emotions affect the outcome of the game. If you select me for your program I will give it everything I have to be successful.

The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
