Luke Bass '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coaches,

My name is Luke Bass and I am a Sophomore at Chandler High School in Chandler, AZ.  I plan to work hard, in both my academics and in baseball, in order to attend college. 

When I was three years old, my Dad and  my Grandfather took me to my very first professional baseball game to see the Arizona Diamondbacks. It was there that I got my first bat and ball, the soft padded type.  According to my family, I never put that bat down, and they were always pitching to me in our family room area. I fell in love with the game, and it's still a huge part of me. I train hard, respect my teammates and coaches, and strive to better myself every day.

I'm in four honors classes, two AP classes, and currently carry a 4.83 GPA.  I'm in the Top 5% of my class. I was also awarded the Principal's Academic Honors Award, and Outstanding Academic Achievement by the Social Studies Department during my Freshman year.  I am very proud of these accomplishments.  I will continue to take honors classes throughout my high school career. 

Along with academics, learning to lead on the field and in the classroom is one of my top priorities that I focus on every day. I attempt to make every one of my teammates, or peers, better, and I try to serve as a roll model in order to inspire others to work as hard as they can.

I just completed fall ball with my high school team, and I am working hard and diligently to prepare for my upcoming season.
