“SO SUPPORTIVE ALL ALONG THE WAY”
Class of 2024 – Student-Athlete – Softball
“I get coach activity and it’s easy to work. I love that I can view my schools and it shows my match percentage.”
Class of 2023 – Student-Athlete – Softball
“NCSA has been really helpful with my recruiting process so far and makes me more secure about my future.”
Class of 2023 – Student-Athlete – Softball
“This is really everything you need on a website to help you understand and help you get recruited.”
Class of 2022 – Student-Athlete – Softball
“So much right at my fingertips, saves me so much time. I can make easy connections when I put in the time.”
Class of 2022 – Student-Athlete – Softball
“I would recommend NCSA to other athletes wanting to play their sport in college because there are so many resources that would help them achieve their goals! So far NCSA has helped me a lot!”
Class of 2021 – Student-Athlete – Softball
“Coach Holly was very helpful, honest and very knowledgeable.”
Class of 2021 – Parent – Softball
“Our family has been very happy with everything NCSA has to offer. We have taken most of the webinars, which have lots of information.”
Class of 2020 – Parent – Softball
“I give NCSA a 10 because they offer so much guidance and help to lead young adults down the right path to help them get to where they want to be.”
Class of 2020 – Parent – Softball
“Coach Joyce was very informative and answered all the questions that we asked. She walked us through the site to help us consider schools and showed us what we need to look for.”
Class of 2020– Parent – Softball
“Lots of colleges are reading our emails and NCSA provides lots of info on what we need to be doing at certain times of her high school career.”
Class of 2020 – Student-Athlete – Softball
“I thought that there would be more talking to schools and coaches by NCSA. The student athlete and parent still have to do the work. The recruiter just gives their opinion on the athlete’s level of competitiveness and suggests classes and what to put on your NCSA page. I though NCSA would do more…it does give you a platform to be seen though. One good thing is when you send emails through the NCSA system, you know if the coach has opened it if they are on NCSA. If you send it through your personal email you do not know if it was opened. But some coaches will not respond or open emails.”
Class of 2020 – Student-Athlete – Softball
“I chose 9 because NCSA is very helpful for me and my family so I would want other athletes to have the same experience as a do.”
Class of 2023 – Parent – Softball
“My daughter is still young so the benefits are still not showing as of yet, but we are remaining hopeful. So far there is promise.”
Class of 2019 – Student-Athlete – Softball
“Coach Jaimie is such a huge help in so many ways, she’s helping me to keep myself on track and it feels as though she’s right by me cheering me on. NCSA as a whole is such a wonderful organization filled with so many kind people wanting to help people like me.”
Class of 2020 – Parent – Softball
“Did an update with Coach Joyce and she offered some good suggestions. Since the softball season is over now, we’ll have some opportunity for contact with coaches.”
Class of 2022 – Parent – Softball
“My daughter plays softball on one of the best teams in the country. She’s ranked in the top 100 players in the 2022 graduation class for FloSoftball. The amount of follows or profile views is not even close to what we’re seeing outside of the site.”
Class of 2019 – Student-Athlete – Softball
“I really like how I am able to email coaches through NCSA. It makes it easier for me because I do not have to create another email address. Also, I am able to find colleges that fit me and my match percentage. I don’t have to do too much research to find out the basics like division and location. It is very easy to use, and I really like using NCSA.”
Class of 2019 – Parent – Softball
“Haven’t seen the benefit of having an NCSA account yet. Too new to it. But would recommend it because it helps you identify colleges that you would’ve never found out about. Like we thought about the big colleges but now seeing the smaller colleges that can be a big benefit too.”
Class of 2021 – Parent – Softball
“NCSA makes it easy to find information that we want to look for in colleges and it’s easy to return email messages. I know they offer a lot of resources for us to know what to do next, but it is hard to determine which colleges to start with and what to do. Information is given to us on what to say, but some slight “not sure” on where to start when deciding who to send stuff to is difficult. Kids are unsure of what colleges they would want to go to, so we now feel we need to get out and start physically looking at some to get an idea of what our daughter might be interested in.”
Class of 2019 – Parent – Softball
“The entire NCSA team has been nothing more than gracious and prompt with the Faison family. They have kept us informed of the various trainings and camps as well as given us personal phone calls to offer us assistance on things we simply did not understand. We are grateful for this organization and will surely recommend any athlete to NCSA for services.”
Class of 2020 – Parent – Softball
“The primary reason would have to be because the person who helped me, Coach Joyce, is very friendly and her instructions for me while over the phone were very clear and not hard to maneuver through! I’d imagine other coaches who do the same thing as her would be just as easy to work with and talk to!”
Class of 2019 – Student-Athlete – Softball
“NCSA is a great website and as a student-athlete I can easily get in touch with somebody if I feel I need guidance or whatnot. So far, my parents and I have had a great experience with NCSA, and I would recommend it to an athlete that wants to play their sport in college in a heartbeat.”
Class of 2019 – Parent – Softball
“I have been so impressed with the service. Jaime our Recruiting Coach is excellent. She took the time to answer my questions and was so patient. She really made me feel comfortable and I totally trust her expertise, as she is an athlete herself and has been through all of this before. I was also impressed with the Recruiting Specialist that signed my daughter up for this program. He was very professional, and very helpful on the phone. NCSA is running a great organization, and I’m glad to have the opportunity to work with you all. I know you will help my daughter as best as you can.”
Class of 2020 – Parent – Softball
“My oldest daughter is committed to play in college and going through the process we learned trial by fire where some information we received was helpful and some just cost us thousands of dollars. I feel after seeing your program that it makes sense to have the profile for coaches to see online. I have to admit I was a bit skeptical at first, having been around this recruiting environment for the last several years, and seeing around every turn some coach, service, or recruiter trying to take my money (and it did happen several times). I am overall very pleased so far. This process plays on the emotions of the parents and players and somewhere in between is the game the kid loves. I have come to realize that the money everyone believes is at the end of the rainbow in the form of an athletic scholarship—that will somehow erase the enormous debt that is incurred by chasing showcase after showcase—does not really exist. I have known parents who have refinanced their homes to travel across the county in hopes of being discovered and have seen ruined marriages and family relationships suffer as a result. I only mention these experiences because when I was in California for PGF, where my 14 year old daughter chased her dream and as I watched my oldest play her last PGF national, I realized I will never regret these times. I consider myself blessed, still married, and not bankrupt…yet. At the end of the day we just want the best for our kids (and I think sometimes bragging rights around the water cooler at work). I met two spectacular people at NCSA’s event tent in California that I trusted and as a result spent $1,300 for what I hope will be a tool to help my daughter get on the radar of some big-time coaches. I am excited for your help and trust your knowledge in this endeavor will have me writing a follow up in 3 years as I send Kailee away to college to play at the next level at a school of her choice to get a great education!”
Class of 2020 – Student-Athlete – Softball
“The primary reason for the score I gave NCSA is because there hasn’t been a moment in my recruiting journey that I’ve been unsure of anything. Any questions I’ve had about recruiting, they’ve been answered, and I’ve gotten a lot of emails from colleges due to using NCSA. I would most definitely recommend NCSA to friends looking to get recruited and play softball in college.”
Class of 2020 – Student-Athlete – Softball
“The primary reason for the score I gave is that NCSA has helped me tremendously in going in the direction of becoming a college athlete. Coach Duffek has really helped me and stayed on top of me about getting my profile complete. I would most definitely recommend NCSA to anyone dreaming of being a college athlete.”
Class of 2019 – Parent – Softball
“I feel we are getting exposure, and that is what we had hoped for. It is very nice to be able to see who is viewing the profile and who is following. I would like to see more 1-on-1 contact from NCSA to help the kids reach “their” dreams.”
Class of 2019 – Student-Athlete – Softball
“NCSA gives you an easier way to find coaches and colleges that you want, and it also gives you a match percentage for all colleges that matched best with you. You can also set how far you are willing to travel. NCSA is always there willing to help if you have questions and will check up on you to make sure you have everything you need to have success outside of this organization.”
Class of 2019 – Parent – Softball
“I feel that NCSA’s services provided a blueprint for any athlete to earn a scholarship and ultimately a degree. They care about the academic side and that’s important. We are early into this so as she progresses through this process, I have all the confidence that we will be guided in the right direction. With success comes higher rewards and higher ratings for you. But I feel good about my choice for my daughter with NCSA.”
Class of 2020 – Student-Athlete – Softball
“I would totally recommend NCSA to a friend or teammate that has the dream of being a college athlete because you guys help a lot of people in many ways. The talks we have and the help we get on how to do and manage things on our own makes me feel more confident because I know I can push myself. Knowing that you guys are here to help me find an opportunity to play college softball makes me feel enthusiastic and relieved. Enthusiastic because I am excited to see the opportunities I will hopefully receive and relieved because I will no longer have to do this on my own. If it weren’t for NCSA and my parents, I wouldn’t have been able to do all of these things on my own and try to achieve my goal.”
Class of 2020 – Parent – Softball
“I believe NCSA is a useful tool especially for young athletes like my daughter who are just starting their journey. The support and follow-up from the Recruiting Coaches have been tremendous. I did receive feedback prior to joining that NCSA tends to send Division II and III schools to athletes. I found this to be true. I don’t understand why the Division I schools seem to be a very low match for my daughter even when they have her program and the lower division schools show a high match even though they don’t have her specified major. We felt the investment, access to the database and the ability to house Alyssa’s profile made it worth our while.”
Class of 2020 – Parent – Softball
“I think overall NCSA is a great service. The database and profile are invaluable. We have found colleges and universities that weren’t initially on our radar. Because Alyssa still has 4 years before she will attend college, it was worth the investment to us to pay the one-time fee. We have referred others but don’t know if they have taken advantage of it. We look forward to completing our profile with skills videos and test scores. There is so much to learn and know about the entire process and we feel that NCSA has filled in many of those gaps for us. We look forward to our relationship over the next 4 years.”
Class of 2020 – Parent – Softball
“We would definitely recommend NCSA to others. The only downside is that the coaches don’t get to see the players in person, only through film. It would be nice if they could see each of their players in person and watch them and have that type of relationship. We have been with NCSA since our daughter was in the seventh grade and so the investment made sense to us especially since she would have the coach throughout her college career etc. And now that we have a Recruiting Coach that is really proactive, my daughter feels very comfortable with her and can rely on their relationship to get her through this recruiting process.”
Class of 2020 – Parent – Softball
“We have been NCSA members for quite some time. Alyssa was in 7th grade when we enrolled. It allowed us to research schools, attend camps and have a profile available for review. Now that Alyssa is entering her junior year it’s very valuable to have someone like Coach Renee Barrows as her Recruiting Coach. She knows the schools and their programs and offers helpful advice. In addition, she suggests great strategies for Alyssa to consider when approaching schools. She’s very helpful. We would recommend NCSA to athletes and families seriously considering sports at the next level.”
Class of 2019 – Student-Athlete – Softball
“NCSA has kept the emails flowing which has kept us on track, but I would like to see more being handled on the NCSA side like video recording which is hard to find. I came from California and am now in New York and had to put a friend to work to get video.”
Class of 2019 – Student-Athlete – Softball
“I would like to see the college coach emails listed on the site because I have been told by coaches that they do not open emails from recruiting sites. If I could use NCSA’s excellent resources and have the profile on your site but still be able to email coaches directly using my own email it would be much better.”
Class of 2019 – Student-Athlete – Softball
“The reason is because whenever I need help with anything, Coach Jaimie has been great. Last week, Coach Jaimie wasn’t available, and another coach, Renee, stepped up and contacted my dad to see if she could offer some assistance. My dad said she was a great help and had some good advice for me that worked out really well. I have already given Coach Jaimie’s contact information to 5 new team members, and my dad has already spoken to a couple of their parents so I am sure they will be reaching out to her. Thank you!”
Class of 2019 – Parent – Softball
“I think NCSA is a huge help in finding and contacting college coaches. The site is very helpful with information about the university and which coaches are interested in our daughter. I would have given the site a 10 but she hasn’t signed with a university yet. I’ll change it when she makes a verbal commitment!”
Class of 2019 – Parent – Softball
“I appreciate all the help we have received. NCSA has helped keep us organized with the recruiting process. However, there are some schools that don’t even open the emails. I believe it has helped us but being in a remote location it is still very difficult to get recruited without spending thousands of dollars going to showcases or camps.”
Class of 2019 – Student-Athlete – Softball
“I gave a 10 based on my experience. It has been so much easier for me to start looking at colleges and sending them emails and so forth because NCSA has helped me know where to start. NCSA has also helped me get my information out there to other college coaches to start the recruiting process.”
Class of 2019 – Student-Athlete – Softball
“NCSA is a great way to get ahead in the recruiting process. If you want an easier way to go through the process, NCSA provides videos and Recruiting Coaches. With the help of NCSA, you can find out what colleges are actually recommended for you and what schools would be a good fit. It is very important that you keep in touch with your Recruiting Coach during the process to keep up with all the important information about who viewed your profile, read your emails, etc. NCSA is a great way to help make recruiting much easier.”
Class of 2013 – Parent – Softball
“Your company and the coaches who represent you have been professional, informative, but most of all, have shown a true concern for making this process work for my daughter. Your database is awesome and the support and guidance from Coach Kalee Monhollon has been invaluable. Her wisdom and empathy during my daughter’s search for scholarship offers helped Sarah receive and accept the to play DII softball at Nyack College. I’ve spread the word to everyone who asked me how my daughter received her scholarship and the acronym NCSA flowed from my lips! Super happy that we chose your network to make this dream come true.” – Alan Spindel
Class of 2020 – Parent – Softball
“Everyone I talked to from NCSA has been great and we’re really excited to see how this works for Leigha. From the first phone call to talking with our Recruiting Coach Kalee Monhollon, our experience so far has been great. Anything I need or questions I have has been a phone call or an email away. Thanks!”
Class of 2019 – Student-Athlete – Softball
“The primary reason I gave NCSA this score is because everyone who has helped me with this process so far has been so kind and helpful and I imagine everyone who works here is just as kind and helpful. The people who work here seem to be very good in these aspects. My friends would love and enjoy this experience too.”
Class of 2019 – Parent – Softball
“NCSA is committed and always keeps us updated with all the events going on. Also, you send emails asking if we need assistance so for me that says you care. I do apologize for us not keeping in touch—we’ve had lots of things going on. We will do our best going forward to update Isabella’s profile. Thanks!”
Class of 2019 – Parent – Softball
“All interactions thus far have been positive and clearly defined for us to help NCSA help us. Unfortunately for us we signed up during our winter break. NCSA wants to help get you up and running ASAP and a lot of the information that we needed, etc. was being asked for during the hustle and bustle of the holidays. Now that we are back at school and work, we’ll start working towards getting this information into the hands of the professionals ASAP.”
Class of 2019 – Student-Athlete – Softball
“NCSA is really helpful with getting us to understand the whole process. I found out how tough it really is to get recruited. It was really a wakeup call. The people that I talk to really make it really easy and helped me through getting to know the whole process. It is really fun too.”
Class of 2019 – Student-Athlete – Softball
“The coaches are very friendly, actively engaging with you to try and better your profile and your path to a future in college sports. The online resources and communities are a great help in the student’s path because I know before I found this site I didn’t even know how to go about picking the right college let alone how to play the sport I love and make active connections with both coaches and other student-athletes.”
